From a legal standpoint, there is no requirement for you to insure your mobility scooter. However, just because it is not a legal requirement, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consider it. Mobility scooter insurance is recommended by both The Department For Transport and several user groups, including Disabled Motoring UK.
